In October 2010, His Holiness the Dalai Lama was joined by a number of Buddhist teachers, scholars and translators at the International Conference on Tibetan Buddhism in the United States.
The conference at Emory University, Atlanta, was held to discuss the future of Tibetan Buddhism and included subjects such as modern science, social engagement, western culture, translation and academic study.
Sogyal Rinpoche was one of the speakers, and you can watch the video of his talk on Tibetan Buddhism in Modern Western Culture, and the subsequent panel discussion, above.
